The artist had these application photos taken at one of the many Seoul-based photo studios for usage for passport, job or university application. She was provided with appropriate business clothes to wear, offered makeup products and various hair tools to get the perfect look. In a short thirty minutes after having her photo taken, she went back to pick the photos up and found her face was photoshopped without her permission. This is apparently quite normal in South Korea.
